Choices

Day and night.
As different as you can get and yet oh so similar.
You cannot live in both worlds, during both times.
You have to sleep, so which should be missed?
Which enjoyed?

Both have flaws, but both are desirable.
One has the moon,
but the other,
the sun.
How do you decide, when given the choice?

The night.
The moon.
A gentle protector with pale light,
Providing a haunting beauty to the world.
Surrounded by shining stars,
Dazzling diamonds designing the sky.
But also it sneaks.
Things happen at night that petrify the soul,
Destroy the life.
Monsters creep and demons play

MeetingMeeting

I pass him,
And he passes I.
Not a word is spoken between us and yet,
yet, there is a mutual consent.
I’ll not speak to him,
And he’ll not speak to I.

It comes,
the thing we have both awaited, here in this place.
I join it, and he follows,
but there are no separate places.
I must sit with him,
And he must sit with I.

We sit together,
close in this space,
but as far apart as two can be in our minds.
Silence stretches,
As I cannot understand him,
And he cannot understand I.

Perhaps,
in another time,
we were friends, lovers, sister and brother?
But not here.
I am not with him,
And he is not with I.

A parody of the classic film "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre", featuring the unnecessarily-terrifying children's TV character Mr. Noseybonk (from the 1980s BBC show "Jigsaw") as the chainsaw-wielding Leatherface.

This incorporates a promotional photo from the film, as well as a framegrab from a rare clip from the TV show!
